Mirosław Jeznach - one of a kind athlete at Rondo 1 Run Up!

06.02.2017
I am a person with a strong sense of humor and positive attitude. Despite all the adversity, I try to live a normal life.

If you have ever participated in Rondo 1 Run Up or any other towerrunning race, you do know how important it is to use your arms. But what if you cannot use them? Let's meet Mirek Jeznach...

When he was a kid, Mirek lost both arms as a result of an electrocution accident. Due to his hard work, persistance and other people's help, he has managed to complete his education, attend an informatics course and get a job. Despite his disability, he is capable of driving a car which makes his life easier.

Last year, Mirek took part in the Rondo 1 Run Up and got to the finish line in...5 minutes 38 seconds! He took 80th place in the OPEN category.

When he registered this year, he said:
I run only for myself, my condition and health. This helps me stay fit and makes my day-to-day activities easier. When I heard about stair running, I decided to try. Just to know what it feels like. I have great memories from last year's event so I decided to come again. In general, I am a person with a strong sense of humor and positive attitude. Despite all the adversity, I try to live a normal life.
